New landlords take on traditional pub The Old House at Home in Milton
Traditional 16th Century pub The Old House at Home in Locksway Road, Milton reopened on April 10.
And the pair say they have great hopes for the boozer, owned by EI Group, which will be offering a host of events for the community to enjoy.

Hide AdMike is excited about the future of the pub and the plans they have to welcome customers:
He said: ‘We want to welcome the whole community. We do have plans to eventually revamp the place but we’d like to keep the pub as traditional as possible.
‘We’ve had a few pubs in the past and have been in the business for about 10 years. I really enjoy the social side of running a pub - so it was a natural move for me.’
The pub will be hosting a whole range of entertainment including live music and barbecues over the summer.

Hide AdPlus it will be home to many different community groups, including Milton Homing Society, which meets every Friday and Saturday for a pigeon club, a folk club on Wednesdays and the Pompey Pluckers, which meets on a Thursday.
Mike said: ‘It’s a lot of fun.’
The pub will also be offering traditional pub food that has been locally sourced, and they also have a wide range of drinks. Beers include Heineken, Amstell, Fosters, Budweiser, Strongbow, Strongbow dark fruits, John Smith and 1664.
Mike added: ‘The ale will change regularly and we have a wide range of gin to offer too.’
The pub also has a traditional log fire and a large pub garden.
