Gosport house party resident fined £200 by Hampshire police for 'flagrant' Covid-19 breach

Officers in Gosport attended the address in Anson Close, Gosport, on Friday night at around 7.40pm and dispersed the attendees.
Now they have revealed the householder was fined and warned to behave better after 20-30 people were at the party.

Posting on Facebook, police said: ‘Following recent government announcements officers from Gosport took decisive action on Friday evening when we were called to a house party in Anson Close, Gosport.
‘The party was in clear breach of COVID regulations restricting gatherings of more than six people and the attendees were dispersed.
‘The householder was given a £200 fine and advised about their future conduct.
