Police mock 'Mr Green Fingers' after discovering 'gardening project' cannabis farm in 'secret' wooded location

Officers attended the location in Ringwood, in the New Forest, where they found a number of large cannabis plants and bags in a secluded location.
Police then swiftly confiscated the drugs before leaving a lighthearted note poking fun at the cultivators’ ‘little gardening project’.

Hide AdThe note left at the scene read: ‘Dear Mr Green Fingers, sorry we had to take your plants. If you would like to have a chat about them give me a ring. Would love to hear from you.’
The officers went on to give a further heads-up to those behind the innovative production farm by posting a message on Facebook to warn the growers.
The post included a number of pictures - including one of an officer with a plant towering above his head.
It said: ‘We were tipped off today about a little gardening project. Well hidden in a top secret location, some green fingered scamps have been having a go at growing cannabis.
