Woman in court over distracting pensioners in Havant house to help her look for cat before accomplice attempted to steal items

Daniela Stoica, 31 of the Green, Slough, has been charged with two counts of dwelling burglary following the incident on April 26.
It comes after she is accused of knocking on the door of an address in Eastleigh Road before telling a man and a woman in their 80s she was looking for her cat.

Hide AdPolice said in a statement: ‘She encouraged the occupants to leave the property and enter the garden in an attempt to help her while a man entered the house and attempted to steal items from inside. Nothing was taken.’
Stoica is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
Police have also arrested a 32-year-old man from Bristol in connection with this incident. He has been released on conditional police bail.
