MP urges firm to re-think planned closure of Marks and Spencer store
AN MP has written to retail giant Marks and Spencer about its plan to close a store.
Fareham MP Suella Fernandes is calling on the company to review its decision to close its branch in the town.
In a letter to Archie Norman, chairman of M&S, Miss Fernandes asked for last week’s announcement of plans for the store in Fareham Shopping Centre to close to be reconsidered.

‘It would be a great shame to see it leave and it would be a disaster for the 58 people employed there.’
