Hancott's rehab hit a setback late last year when scar tissue was causing him discomfort.
However, the 19-year-old is nearing his return to match fitness as he bids to get his career back on track.
Player development manager Mark Kelly said: ‘Joe is coming on nicely. He is back in training and has had a lot to deal with.

‘He is just starting to really train again and is back in full training now.
‘Hopefully, in the next month or so, we should see a proper return for him.
